Advanced Rug Tufting Techniques Masterclass

Ready to level up your tufting skills?

This intensive masterclass is designed for students who have already completed our basic rug tufting workshop and are ready to explore more advanced techniques. Spend a full creative day refining your control, improving your finishing, and learning how to create more dimensional, professional-looking rugs.

We provide everything you need — tufting gun, frame, tools, glue, backing, trimming equipment, and an extended yarn allocation so you can fully experiment with advanced techniques without worrying about materials.

Projectors are available to help you map out your designs. However, we highly encourage sending your designs in advance so we can prepare your layout before you arrive and maximize your workshop time.

Throughout the day, we’ll guide you step-by-step — from a quick refresher of the basics to mastering gradients, pile variation, carving, and clean finishing. By the end of the session, you won’t just finish rugs — you’ll finish them like a pro.

What You’ll Create

- 3 separate rugs within a 60 × 60 cm frame; 24 x 53cm keyboard rug, 25 x 25cm Medium pile Wall Decor, 26cm Round Gradient Wall Decor
- Advanced dimensional and carved finishes
- Professionally trimmed and bound pieces
